The Alexander Technique is an incredible tool you can use whenever you like, in any situation, to reduce your stress levels. 

How it helps

Reduce tension

You will learn how to take control of your tension so that it doesnn't escalate out of control. You will feel more relaxed and you will know what to do when things become more challenging.

Deep self care

When you can relax it is easier to see what you need to do and be motivated to do it. Often we are running on an empty tank and are taking lots of wrong turns as we haven't taken the time to check our map.  Good self care is about getting ourself in the best state to make our choices.

Take Control

Once you know how to calm yourself down  then you are more in control of how you respond to events, relationships, thoughts, pain or anything else life has to throw at you. You can use the tools anywhere in any situation to give yourself the best options.

Calm nervous system

Learn tools to get back into neutral whenever you need to so that you can think clearly and calmly. Take a practical approach to problem solving from a grounded perspective.

Choose responses

When we start from a neutral place we can choose how to respond to situations more effectively. Problems don't disappear but they can become more manageable. We can get in the right gear, with the right fuel and the hand brake off.

Know when to reset

Once you know how to become calm you will start to notice when things are getting out of hand and you will have tools you can use to reset yourself. It doesn't need to spiral out of control. You can be in the driving seat.
