Under the current government guide lines I am currently still open and teaching
1-2-1 lessons at my Home Studio in Portslade. I have certain measures in place as follows:
All equipment is cleaned between pupils, including the table, chair rails and door handles.
I will wear a visor when working with pupils hands on or <2 m distance. Both teacher and pupil will hand sanitise before and after the lesson. Windows will be kept open where possible to ensure good ventilation. Toilet facilities will no longer be available for pupils. Good record keeping is already in place and will be continued.
For pupils booking a course of lessons I have offered the following option in case of lockdown:
I will hold all lesson bookings indefinitely until such time as the lessons can be taken. In the interim period whilst lockdown is in place I will teach online lessons free of charge on a weekly basis as required by the pupil. This will offer the pupil the benefit of continuity and enable me to practise my online teaching skills aswell!
